USA ROAD TRIP PART TWO || Death Valley, Sequoia, Kings Canyon, Las Vegas, Los Angeles
On the second leg of our trip, we headed to Death Valley National Park — the hottest, driest, and lowest National Park in North America. We explored sand dunes, salt flats and multi-colored hills, before ending the day in Olancha where we spent a memorable night sleeping in a cozy Tipi tent under the stars.
The next day, we drove up to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park, and spent a few nights in a beautiful luxury RV on a secluded, off-the-grid hill in Squaw Valley. Our days were filled with exploring the towering Sequoia trees, formidable waterfalls and streams of Kings Canyon, and hiking up the most magnificent rocks, and always ended our days playing with the most adorable pup, Luna, that came along with the owners of the RV. Most nights were spent cooking and eating sumptuous dinners while kicking back and watching a movie on our lounge sofas.
We headed back to the city of Los Angeles after, where we attending a live recording of The Voice at Universal Studios! We were star struck to say the least — from being part of the audience witnessing all the magic play out behind-the-scenes, to watching all the amazing contestants perform their solos, and seeing the four judges — Adam Levine, Alicia Keys, Kelly Clarkson, and Blake Shelton — before our very eyes, it was such a dream come true. We also lucked out when we scored tickets to a private concert by Kelly Clarkson a few days after! 🤩
Of course, our trip wouldn’t be complete without a visit to our family’s favourite theme park — Six Flags Magic Mountain! It was our second time there, and it was so much fun screaming our heads off and relieving the good times when we were there many years back.
We spent the last few days eating, shopping and exploring the city 🙂
Enjoy part two of our road trip in the beautiful state of America!
